Will the organizer give the datasets or the participants have to collect dataset and participate?

  Hi Akash, we hope to recommend some corporate datasets (which may be considered for extra prizes), but it is entirely open to the participants as to what dataset they end up using for this competition. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

  Thanks for your reply. I have some private datasets. I want to use that dataset(if I could not able to find other interesting datasets), however, it is not possible to share this dataset with others for security and privacy reasons. But I can give some stats and general info for that dataset. Can I use such type of dataset? Thanks again.

  As long as you are able to discuss, at length, about what you learned from the data, and the implications of what you've learned, that is fine. We do not require participants to disclose their entire dataset, just the analysis and the source code.

  Keep in mind however, DataSci assumes absolutely no responsibility for any intellectual property taken/learned by other participants/judges during the course of the competition.
