Usage of submission

After submission, whether chosen for prize or not, can the participant use the submitted project/result for publication? Like, in a journal or conference?

    Hi Masum,

    For sure! We do ask that, if you do use your project/result for an official publication, you reference this competition. For example, 'this analysis, created for the Artificial Intelligence Society DataSci '17 competition, has the following implications....'. Obviously, we can't enforce actively enforce this, but this is mostly to get the name of the competition out (as we hope to host a similar competition every year). But past that, the intellectual property of whatever you create will fully belong to you.
